Narrative

Narrative, or in other words, story. I am interested in how one can tell stories with web pages. I mean, you'd have to agree it opens up all kinds of possibilities for conveying information; the mixing of graphics, animation, text, sound and all combined with the potential of non-linearity and interactivity. Pretty damn interesting place to go and start telling stories if you ask me. The trick is to find out how to do it well in terms of the media. In other words, one could just post a short story on line, but that would not be taking full advantage of the hypertextual properties of the web. But there are some sites out there that are exploring this medium more fully, taking advantage of the graphical nature of the web and the associative nature of hypertextual links.
